DXN was founded by Datuk Lim Siow Jin, a graduate of the prestigious Indian Institute of Technology (IIT). His passion for understanding the health benefits of mushrooms led him to focus on Ganoderma, known as the King of Herbs. In 1993, he established DXN in Kedah, Malaysia, turning his vision of natural wellness into a global movement.

DXN's core business encompasses the cultivation, manufacturing, and marketing of high‑quality health food supplements. Headquartered in Malaysia, the company is globally recognised for its leadership in the Ganoderma industry. Its diverse product range includes dietary supplements, food and beverages, personal care items, skincare and cosmetics, household products, and water treatment systems. Since its establishment in 1993, DXN has adhered to its guiding philosophy of "One Dragon, One World, One Market, One Mind." This unified concept has driven the company's steady growth and long‑term stability. On 30 September 2003, DXN Holdings Berhad was listed on the Main Board of Bursa Malaysia. The company was later delisted on 27 December 2011 following a successful take‑over offer by its founder.
DXN Holdings Berhad serves as the investment holding and management arm of the DXN Group. The company's strong commitment to quality has earned numerous awards and recognitions from global health and business organisations. Supported by a solid foundation and a sustainable development model, DXN has diversified into additional sectors, including property development and information technology. In the direct selling industry, DXN's rapid international expansion is widely acknowledged. Its growing network of distributors reflects the company's strategic presence in key global markets.
